‘The Big Four: Live From Sofia, Bulgaria’ Artwork, Track Listing Revealed

Universal Music will release “The Big Four: Live From Sofia, Bulgaria” DVD and Blu-ray containing footage of the June 22, 2010 Sonisphere cinecast from the Sofia, Bulgaria leg of the touring rock festival featuring the “Big Four” of 1980s thrash metal — Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax. The DVD hits the streets on October 15 in Northern Europe, October 18 in most of the rest of the world, October 19 in North America and the full shows from all four bands will be included in the two-disc set along with behind-the-scenes and interview footage. In addition to the two-DVD set and the corresponding Blu-ray, there will be a limited-edition “super deluxe” box set including the DVD set, five CDs with ALL the music, a 24-page booklet, a poster, photos of each band, and a “Big Four” guitar pick.

Megadeth is confirmed to headline six festival shows this December in New Zealand and Australia for the “No Sleep Til” tour, a touring festival that will deliver a mix of the best international and local acts from the legendary to the up-and-comers. Other confirmed acts on the tour include, NOFX, Dropkick Murphys, 3 Inches Of Blood, Parkway Drive, A Day To Remember, Katatonia, GWAR, and more.

Megadeth, Slayer, Testament Launch ‘American Carnage’ Tour

Megadeth,Slayer, and special guests Testament kick off the first leg of the “American Carnage” tour today (August 11) at the Glens Falls Civic Center in Glen Falls, New York with the 19-city trek wrapping up in Portland, Oregon on September 4. After a successful “Canadian Carnage” run in July, Megadeth will continue to roar through its landmark 1990 album “Rust In Peace” from front to back, while Slayer will rip the roof off by performing its much-lauded “Seasons In The Abyss” album, which was also released in 1990. The second leg of “American Carnage” will kick off on September 24 with special guests Anthrax.
